Marked By COVID Massachusetts

Marked By COVID Massachusetts was established in April 2021 and is led by COVID Justice Leader Jennifer Ritz Sullivan, who lost her mom Earla Dawn to COVID-19. Since forming, advocates across the state have been supported in telling their stories to legislators and the press. We have gotten the support of all Massachusetts's Congressional members calling for the first Monday in March as COVID Memorial day, including working closely with Senators Warren and Markey to introduce the Senate bill. Marked By COVID Massachusetts also introduced state legislation with Representatives Blais and Domb for a  COVID Remembrance Day, HD 3821, to be established on the first Monday in March.
