Ibrahim Ali

Ibrahim "TABLEEK" Ali has been working in Urban Agriculture for over a decade as the co-Director of a youth based farm in Springfield, MA, as well as an educator for the state wide Urban Ag Extension service based at UMass Amherst. He has received extensive training on Urban Farming from Growing Power (Milwaukee), Seed School (Arizona) and Master Gardeners Association (W. Mass) among others, and has lectured about the empowering aspects urban farming and its struggles in the face of maligned policy towards its practitioners. He maintains a small garden with his family growing asparagus, strawberries and various greens.
