John Bollard

John Bollard is an editor, translator, medievalist, and lexicographer. The author of ten books, he served as managing editor of the eight-volume African American National Biography and of African American Lives at Harvard University’s W. E. B. Du Bois Institute for African American Research. He has a PhD in English from the University of Leeds and has written extensively on medieval Welsh literature and history.
