Julia began playing the accordion at the CRD in Mulhouse. She was admitted to the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2016. In addition to her accordion studies, she joined the generative improvisation class in 2019. Julia obtained her Master's degree in accordion, her prize in generative improvisation, and her State Diploma in 2022.
An eclectic artist, Julia regularly performs in solo recitals as well as chamber music, offering a repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music, including tango. In 2022, she performed with the Lamoureux Orchestra in several solo concerts and then joined the Paris Opera Orchestra for György Kurtág's "Endgame" at the Palais Garnier.
Passionate about theatre, she notably accompanied Cyrano de Bergerac at the Comédie Saint Michel, Mixity at the Théâtre Lepic, and Délicieuses at the Théâtre du Balcon in Avignon.
She also appears in several accordion-vocal duos, her preferred format, including for "If Music be the food of love" and "Le cabaret d'Elsa". Her desire to create and promote contemporary music led her to co-found the trio "L'Impolie" in 2018. She is also a member of the Ensemble Télémaque, with which she performs regularly in Marseille.
Julia also shares her love of music through teaching at the Conservatoire de Carrières-sur-Seine where she has been teaching accordion, choir and musical awakening since 2018.
