I’m most at home in the natural world hiking, biking, running…and being. In motion or still, at heart I’m an observer. I look for both the beauty and tension in passing moments, and I strive to convey emotions in those transient experiences with light and color. I respect the tradition of animism, which has long felt right to me as a way to listen and see.
Western Massachusetts is the geographic home for me and my family. It’s a place of endless beauty that I revere through art and try to protect through action and activism.
When not making art, I’ve worked to support women and youth through coalition building, fundraising, writing, and social change leadership development.
