Larisa Demos

Larisa Demos began her interest in worker owned co-ops in 2014 when she started a job at the now 45-year-old Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney Vermont. Soon after becoming a member there in 2016, Larisa began attending member meetings with the Valley Alliance of Worker Cooperatives and was elected to the board in 2018. She currently serves as board chair. In 2021, Larisa co-founded the Flat Iron Cooperative, a multi-stakeholder coffeehouse in Bellows Falls VT.
