Shelby Serio

Shelby Serio – JFK Middle School Band Director

Shelby Serio holds a Masters Degree in Music Education from the University of Colorado Boulder (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Westfield State University (2013). Shelby has performed professionally in New England, Colorado, Missouri, & Salzburg, Austria. Ms. Serio has presented research at the Colorado Music Educators Conference and is a member of the National & Massachusetts Association for Music Educators and Women Band Directors International. Ms. Serio is the current Director of Bands for John F. Kennedy Middle School in Northampton, Massachusetts. When not teaching and directing the JFK Band, Shelby enjoys skiing & playing disc golf with her husband, Kevin, and playing with their dog, Pingree.
