The Hartt Trumpet Ensemble

The Hartt Trumpet Ensemble is a group of trumpet students from the University of Hartford. We are in varying degrees of music studies and come together to play works from various composers. We work towards a common goal of creating, perfecting and enjoying all the music that we decide to take on and strive to create an inclusive and productive environment. We are headed by DMA candidate Margaret Mangold who selected the members of this ensemble and decided the repertoire to be performed. We are conducted and rehearsed by Eliijah Zelaya, French horn player and wonderful conductor. The other members of the group are Marie Plouffe, Henry Shifrin, Margie Jarsulic, Mark Murphy, Holly Dion, Zach Stowe-Aleman and Paige Buchan.
