Narrated by Boston independent Hiphop legend and UMass Boston professor Akrobatik and featuring the talents of Dutch ReBelle as Sojourner Truth and Ida B. Wells, Marcia Gomes as Elizabeth “Mumbet” Freeman, Adrienne Mack-Davis as Elizabeth Key, Michael Lawrence-Riddell as John Brown, and others.

"Know the Ledge" harnesses the power of music, dance, visuals, and storytelling to encourage all audiences to critically think about the histories and legacies of systemic racism in the United States of America. The show will be headlined by rapper Sa-Roc, who will also play a role as Fannie Lou Hamer. Sa-Roc is one of the most vibrant MCs in the world today. Dubbed by Okayplayer as “one of the most formidable microphone mavens in the game,” Sa-Roc is an artist for a socially conscious generation.
