Join celebrated santoor artist Vinay Desai in uncovering the Indian santoor’s journey from little known Kashmiri folk instrument to international recognition. Santoor was an unknown instrument to the Indian Classical stage, yet it was in the valleys of Jamu Kashmir for 2000 years. Celebrated santoor artist Vinay Desai will be sharing about the evolution of the instrument from one genre to the next and its contribution to changing how Indian Classical music is now presented as well.
