Blackappella + POCappella

Sibling groups POCappella and Blackappella are coming to "All Things A capella"! Blackapella, aka “the Berries,” root their repertoire in their Black identity and history, including traditional spiritual music, provocative jams, and rich ballads sung by singers of color. POCappella, the newest acapella group on Smith college campus, known as POCA, comprises students from a range of racial and ethnic identities to sing a diverse repertoire in several languages, inviting the audience to experience their cultures with them. Both groups take pride in bringing joy to their audience, and can't wait to share that joy with you all in April 2024!
