With a sound inspired by a melting pot of Americana, country, blues, and rock, Fran O’ Connell discovered a love for playing music later in life than most. A graduate of Columbia University, a Veteran, and a seasoned entrepreneur, O’Connell is no stranger to heartache, hard work, and the pursuit of the American Dream. All of it inspired the inception of The FrannyO Show, the musical moniker of O’Connell.
The FrannyO Show recorded three albums in Nashville with Rolling Stone acclaimed producer Jamie Kent, and self-produced several songs during COVID. He recently wrapped up a recording project with Nashville singer-songwriter and producer Matthew Szlachetka. O’Connell frequently tours with his dynamic band throughout the Northeast. Recent singles include Stone by Stone and Sign the Papers.
The band originated in Western Massachusetts and have played at Mill Pond Live Concert Series, The Celebrate Holyoke Festival and The Iron Horse Music Hall. The FrannyO Show is now headquartered at “The Farm” in The White Mountains of New Hampshire, and has performed there at the historic Barnstormers Theatre.
