Vox Sambou

Vox Sambou was born in Limbé, Haiti. He has been composing and performing for over 15 years in Montreal and internationally. As a founding member of the Montreal collective Nomadic Massive, he released 3 albums between 2006 and 2016. Vox Sambou has been crucially involved in the realization of educational and community projects based in Limbé, Haiti. He is a founding member of Solid'Ayiti, an initiative of artists and activists working for long-term solidarity between Montrealers and the movement fighting for social justice in Haiti, according to the principles of self-sufficiency, education, decentralization, and reforestation.

Sambou has several music videos to his credit, including “DiscriminaSida”, launched on International AIDS Day in 2011. His latest music video, “Article 14”, is a collaboration with The Narcicyst and Professor Noam Chomsky.
